Tirunesh Dibaba, born near Bekoji in the Arsi Province of Ethiopia, is an Ethiopian long-distance runner. Tirunesh is the 2008 and 2012 Olympic Champion 10000m and is the 2008 Olympic Champion at 5000m. She is also an eight-time world champion and is the world record holder for 5000m and 15 kilometers.
Dibaba, a three-time Olympic champion and five-time world champion in long-distance running, is set to make a comeback to the track after giving birth to her third child, despite widespread belief that she had retired. Her husband, Sileshi, won silver medals in the 10,000 meters at the 2004 Athens Olympics, 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2005 World Championships, and 2007 World Championships, as well as a bronze in 2003. He also secured a silver medal in the 5,000 meters at the 2005 World Championships. The Ethiopian athlete couple enjoys a great reputation locally and operates this hotel project.
